You’ll earn 1 point for every £1 spent through your GoDark account. For example, an order totalling £450 earns 450 points. Only full pounds count — so a £125.50 order earns 125 points. This applies across all currencies, with points calculated based on the GBP value of each product.

There are two expiry timelines in the GoDark programme - one for retention and one for your points balance. Here's how they work together:

1. Tier Retention (Fixed 12-Month Period):

When you enter a new GoDark tier, you’ll have 12 months from the date you enter to earn enough points to retain your tier.

• If you reach the retention target, your tier is locked for another 12 months, regardless of your future activity.
• You can continue earning points during that same period to progress to a higher tier — you’re not capped once you hit retention.
• If you don’t meet the retention goal, your tier will be recalculated based on the points you earned during those 12 months.

Example: You enter Tier 1 on 1st January 2025. You have until 1st January 2026 to hit the retention goal. If you do, Tier 1 is locked in until 1st January 2027 — and if you keep earning enough points during that year, you could progress into higher tiers before then.

2. Points Expiry (Rolling 12-Month Period):

Points earned from purchases have a rolling 12-month expiry. This means each time you earn points from an order, those points will expire 12 months later.

• Your total points balance may go up and down as older points expire.
• Only active (non-expired) points count toward tier retention and progression.

Example: You place an order on 15th March 2025 and earn 200 points. Those 200 points will expire on 15th March 2026 unless they’ve already been used toward tier retention or progression.

Here is the breakdown for point and retention targets:

Tier 3:

• Entry Threshold: 1 point
• Retention Threshold: 1 points

Tier 2:

• Entry Threshold: 500 points
• Retention Threshold: 500 points

Tier 1:

• Entry Threshold: 1500 points
• Retention Threshold: 1500 points

Black Ops:

• Entry Threshold: 3000 points
• Retention Threshold: 1500 points (50% retention discount)

Black Ops By Invite Only:

• Entry Threshold: Invite Only
• Retention Threshold: Invite Only

Black Ops and Black Ops (Invite Only) members receive the same benefits. The difference? Black Ops (Invite Only) status doesn’t require any ongoing spend to retain.

GoDark isn’t an earn-and-spend system. Instead, your points determine your tier level — the higher your tier, the better the rewards. Climb the ranks to unlock elite-level benefits and exclusive perks.

At the end of each 12-month period, your tier is reviewed. If you haven’t earned enough points to maintain or upgrade your current tier, your level will be recalibrated based on how many points you have at that time. For example, if you’re in Tier 2 but only have 100 points, you’ll move to Tier 3. Those 100 points will carry over into the next 12-month cycle.

Yes — you’ll still earn points on discounted or sale items, but only on the final amount paid after the discount is applied. Points are calculated based on the actual amount you spend, not the original price.

Points are held in a 30-day pending period to allow for returns. After 30 days, if you’ve kept your items, your points will be added to your account. If you return part or all of your order, your points will be adjusted based on the final order value. Points aren’t awarded for returned items.

Yes. No matter where you’re shopping from, you’ll still earn points. All GoDark points are calculated using the GBP value of the product, based on a £1 = 1 point system.
